Jairo grew up believing the bullying behavior he received from his friends was normal. It wasn’t until his family began attending Gateway Church and Gateway Students that he saw a huge difference in the way he was treated by his peers. As he felt the love and acceptance from his family, the Lord, and his church home, he began to wonder, “What if that could be me someday?” The love he felt from his peers and pastors became something he wanted to give back. Whoever you are, wherever you are, Jairo wants you to know that you matter.
